NewYork Bans Sugary Drinks Over 16oz
The article " NYC bans drinks over 16oz" by:Jennifer Peltz and David B. Carus is about howt they passed a ban on the sale of some soft drinks on Thursday. The ban applies to any business with a food-service license, including fast-food places, delis, movies and theaters, the concession stands at stadiums and other restaurants. They will be banned from serving sugary beverages in cups or bottles larger than 16 ounces. The ban is set to take effect in March. I feel as that if their going to ban 16oz sugary drinks that they should ban coffee’s over 16ozs to because coffee is a sugary drink and it could stop your growth spurts.”We cannot continue to have our kids come down with diabetes at age 6,” said Mayor Michael Bloomberg. This means that their worried about kids getting diabetes at 6 when kids drink coffee every morning just energy.Another example is “Nobody is banning anything,” he said, noting that restaurant customers can still buy as much soda as they want, as long as they are willing to carry it in multiple containers. To me this means were not banning how much soda soda you drink just how much you put in one cup. This article to me is very annoying because it talks about kids could get diabetes but they don’t care how much you drink just how much you put in a cup. After reading this hopefully you’ll get a different perspective on the banning of sugary drinks over 16oz.

You did a good job summarizing the article but your opinion seems to have gotten mixed up with the details of the article. You also need to include more explanation of why you think this is a bad plan. 80
